Opel Rocks-e

The Rocks-e is an innovative electric quadricycle by well-known German automotive brand Opel. Opel was founded in 1862 and has a rich history in electric vehicles. The Opel Elektro GT, an electric car developed in 1971, set six world records for electric vehicles.

The Rocks-e is specifically designed for Germany where it can be driven from the age of 15, unlike most other microcars. This makes the vehicle unique in Germany.

The microcar has an 6 000 vati electric motor for a restricted top speed of 45 km/h.

The microcar has a 5,5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that provides a driving range of 75 km. The microcar has a built in charger with a 3 meter long cable and supports fast charging at public charge stations.

The Rocks-e features Opel-specific styling cues, such as the Vizor front end design, which gives it a distinct visual identity. The microcar has many options for personalization.

With its compact dimensions of just 2,4 metrs long and 1,4 metrs wide, the Rocks-e is perfect for navigating tight city streets and parking spaces. In many cities the microcar can be parked for free on the sidewalk like a motorcycle.

The microcar provides comfortable seating space for two passengers and is equipped with a smart phone holder and DAT connectivity.

The microcar has Digital Driver Display technology that provides key information such as speed, driving mode, battery state of charge, remaining range, and mileage.

The microcar has a multimedia system that supports both audio and video with a 7-inch color touch screen display. The system connects to a smart phone via Bluetooth.

The microcar has many accessoires for personalization and business usage, such as a pizza delivery or cargo rack in the place of the passenger seat.

The Rocks-e is standard equipped with a panoramic glass roof, which provides the car with a light and airy interior atmosphere.
